Verses Encouraging Right Choices

“I have set before you life and death,
blessings and curses.
Now choose life so that you and your children may live,
and that you may love the Lord your God,
listen to His voice and hold fast to Him.”
~ Deuteronomy 30:19-20 ~

“then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve....
But as for me and my household,
we will serve the Lord.”
~ Joshua 24:15 ~

Choose My instruction instead of silver,
knowledge rather than choice gold,
for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.”
~ Proverbs 8:10-11 ~

Listen to advice and accept instruction
and in the end you will be wise.”
~ Proverbs 19:20 ~

  1. I LOVE that you are doing verse for such a wide variety of topics- some of which encourage virtue and responsibility not just warm and fuzzy uplifting. I REALLY appreciate that you're tackling the series this way!!

    1. Thank you, Ren! While warm & fuzzy encouragement has its place, (and thats what gets shared most) thats not all Gods word is good for. Its living & active, life breathing & life constructing. My prayer is many people will be encouraged, but also have constructive truth spoken to their souls. I was originally going To do 3 posts a week following the alphabet, (1 letter a week) but thats not working out so well! Im supposed to be on "C" this week & just yesterday I was annoyed, & had to go find verses in that! Lol so ill post as I'm convicted on top of the "abc" order :) Thank you for stopping by!

  2. This is (as usual) wonderful, Kaylene. I adore the verse from Proverbs 8 as it was my key verse for my very first bloggy adventure three plus years ago.

You always write what I need to hear. So thankful for you and your heart!
